JE/SRP pistons are not a true forged piston (material wise , not forging wise) and as such does not need the clearance of one.To tight on the other hand and its even worse on the pistons/ bores etc. I personally would run 4-5 thou with these pistons just to be on the safe side.
P.S. 2 More Suggestions
Find another engine builder and get a new computer keyboard ,preferably one with a caps lock key that works.
