If you have a DOS version of a program and can not print the graphic work sheets from Windows 95, then try the following instructions: (for best results, print this page so you can step through the instruction)
Double click My Computer
Double click Control Panel
Double click System, if it shows that you have the 950.B version then you will need to find an actual copy of DOS 5.0 or newer. Microsoft didn't put DOS on the Windows 95 (B version) CD, that's why you need to find an actual copy of DOS.
If you do not have the "B" version then you may have DOS on your Windows 95 CD. To see if you have DOS follow these instructions:
Double click My Computer
Double click the W95 cd (D:) icon
Double click the "other" file
Double click the "oldmsdos" file
There should now be a number of program files listed. Look for GRAPHICS.COM and GRAPHICS.PRO
If you have these program files on the CD, they need to be copied to the C: drive of your computer. To copy the files click the Start button and the go to the Programs line in the pop-up menu. Next, go to the MS-DOS line that is in the second pop-up men u and click that item. The DOS window will appear. Now, type COPY D:\OTHER\OLSMSDOS\GRAPHICS.* C:\*.*
After the graphics files are loaded on the hard drive you need to make sure the "spooler" is turned off by using these instructions:
Double click My Computer
Double click Printers
Click File
Click Properties
Click Details
Click Port Settings
Now, make sure the Spool MS-DOS option is not selected
Also, do not use the Run command from the Start menu to execute the program. Always go to the DOS window, type CD\ and press Enter. From this point use the command listed in the booklet to start the program.
