MORE
ENGINES!This eye-popping new version of Engine Shop covers most all V8 Chevy, Ford and MOPAR engines. With the simple click of a button, you will instantly see bore & strokes for the different engine blocks from each manufacturer. Simulating engine combinations is incredibly fast and simple. You can quickly and easily pick from thousands of parts specs in the software's Parts Catalogs section (see below). By pressing a button in the catalog section of the main screen, you will instantly see manufacturers for that part and specific parts from the company. |
If you are an experienced engine builder, you can enter your own parts specifications in the Machine Shop section of the software. Also, placing the curser on different specs will cause a Note box to pop-up showing the stock factory specs. This makes customizing parts even easier (see example below).
|
| MORE TOOLS The new version is also loaded with special tools. In fact, the entire Cam Shop software is now built into Engine Shop.
But the special features don't stop there! With the Camshaft Timing Toolkit, you can easily simulate advancing or retarding your cam. You will instantly see the resulting valve timing from this change and in two clicks of the mouse, see the resulting torque and horsepower change, as well! |
| IT'S SMART, TOO
If your parts combination results in the piston sticking above the block deck, you will be instantly warned. Or, if you select a manifold that may not fit your engine, you will get a warning. Engine Shop benefits you by spotting common problems before you buy the parts. WANT MORE POWER? The new version also has completely overhauled mathematics. Now, dyno runs are more accurate and can more precisely determine if an engine change will make more or less power. You can even lock baseline torque and HP curves on the screen for easy visual comparisons of engine changes (see example below).

MORE SOLUTIONS
During an engine build-up, it is possible that you might
not know what cam to try first. Engine Shop can now
select a cam for you to get you started (see example
>>>). What if you have specific cam specs in mind, or previously had success with a given set of specs, but you don't remember who made the cam? Engine Shop will cross reference or look up cam specs for various cam manufacturers, all with just a simple click of the mouse. |
And to help guide you through an engine
build-up, the instruction manual has a section on Engine
Power Tips. This will help you choose the right engine
parts to change when tailoring the power curves. These
tips are a valuable learning experience by itself! Don't miss out, call and get yours today!
